Densities are in Msun/pc^3, masses in Msun and coordinates in pc.

abstractmethod mass_density_3d(R_pc, z_pc, **kwargs)[source]#

Return the dark-matter density in Msun/pc^3.

abstractmethod enclosed_mass(m_pc, **kwargs)[source]#

Return mass in Msun inside a similar ellipsoid of radius m_pc.

abstractmethod potential_gradient(R_pc, z_pc, **kwargs)[source]#

Return (dPhi/dR,dPhi/dz) in (km/s)^2/pc.
