jeanspy.baes_eta2.baes_eta2_kernel_appell_reference

jeanspy.baes_eta2.baes_eta2_kernel_appell_reference(u, R_pc, beta_0, beta_inf, r_a, *, dps=40)[source]#

High-precision reference evaluation using mpmath.appellf1.

This function is deliberately a reference path rather than a production hot path. mpmath is a development dependency of jeanspy and is loaded lazily here. It evaluates the exact three-term Appell-F1 expression quoted in baes_eta2_kernel_jax().

Notes

Inputs and units. Broadcastable u/R_pc arrays and scalar beta_0/beta_inf/r_a with the units/domain of the JAX eta=2 kernel; dps sets mpmath working precision.

Returns and shape. NumPy dimensionless kernel array with the broadcast u/R_pc shape.

Validity. Independent numerical check; not the production JAX inference route.

Errors. mpmath evaluation/convergence exceptions can propagate.

Backend. Python/mpmath CPU.

Differentiation. No physical-parameter automatic differentiation on this API.
